What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Reading and Interpreting Customer and Shipping Orders: Accurately read and interpret customer and shipping orders, including deciphering difficult handwriting.
- Keying Data into Microsoft Excel Fields: Enter data into specific Microsoft Excel fields with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verifying Data Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of data before entry into the system to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Maintaining Data Consistency: Ensure consistency of data across the system, including updating customer address changes and maintaining accurate logs of ongoing work.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, and other tasks as required.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking Skills: Excellent reading comprehension and critical thinking skills to accurately interpret customer and shipping orders.
- Organizational Skills and Communication Abilities: Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities to collaborate with the team and ensure data accuracy.
- Patience and Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain patience for repetitive tasks and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Minimum of One to Two Years of Experience: Minimum of one to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:
- Reading Knowledge of Spanish: Reading knowledge of Spanish, as a small percentage of orders are in that language.
- Social Perceptiveness and Service Orientation: Strong social perceptiveness and service orientation to provide excellent customer service.
