Job Summary

As an Experienced Engineering Manager – Cross-Functional Software Development at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, making key decisions that impact cross-functional partners, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Your role will involve close work with code, technical details, and data, as well as collaboration with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML. You will have the opportunity to define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects, create a multi-year roadmap, and lead the design and execution phases of software development.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers, making key decisions that impact cross-functional partners

• Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
• Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Engage with external customers and stakeholders
• Help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Create a multi-year roadmap and lead the design and execution phases of software development
• Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry

Minimum Qualifications

* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints

• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of engineering management experience

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Experience with API development and working with API consumers
