Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering their inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. You will be working from home, using high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable, and will be required to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
Responsibilities
* Answer in-coming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every caller receives a positive experience
- Use your problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate them to the appropriate team members when necessary
- Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
- Work from home, using high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Training Schedule
* The first 6 weeks of training will be held from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
- After the initial training period, you will be expected to work from home, using high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable
Requirements
* Must live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
- Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
- Must be able to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with working remotely in a call center setting is preferred
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare is preferred

Pay Range
* The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.90 per hour
- The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors
