Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Manager State & Higher Education, you will be responsible for:

• Investing in the Future of arenaflex's People: You will work closely with the Manager State & Higher Education team to execute strategic direction and develop the skills and knowledge of Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management.
• Coaching and Developing Sales Teams: You will coach and help to professionally develop the Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the managed travel industry.
• Increasing Sales and Establishing Partnerships: You will work to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
• Identifying and Hiring Top Talent: You will identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry.
• Piloting the Future of arenaflex: You will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the development of arenaflex's innovative solutions and strategies.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field: You will have a strong foundation in business principles, marketing, and sales.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field: You will have a proven track record of success in sales, account management, or a related field.
• Experience in the managed travel industry: You will have a deep understanding of the managed travel industry and its key players.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills: You will be able to coach and develop the skills and knowledge of Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Field Government Account Managers, designated portfolio management, and other arenaflex teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field: You will have advanced knowledge of business principles, marketing, and sales.
• Experience in a leadership or management role: You will have experience leading or managing teams and developing strategies to drive business growth.
• Certifications in sales, account management, or a related field: You will have certifications that demonstrate your expertise in sales, account management, or a related field.
