Job Summary
We're seeking a dedicated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This is an ideal opportunity to pivot your customer service expertise into the dynamic healthcare industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer support, answering calls, and responding to queries related to medical insurance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience
- Accurately documenting call content in real-time to ensure seamless communication and resolution
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support to customers
Schedule
* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
- Note: Rotating holidays as needed
Compensation and Benefits
* Pay: $16.20/hr
- Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available

Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare-related industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using technology, including CRM software and phone systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the healthcare industry or a related field
- Familiarity with medical insurance and billing procedures
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish)
