Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos to provide an exceptional user experience
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve user issues, improve platform functionality, and drive user adoption
  • Providing proactive support to users, anticipating and addressing their needs to ensure a positive and delightful day-to-day experience
  • Troubleshooting technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior support team members, and documenting resolutions for future reference
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on platform features, industry trends, and best practices in customer support
  • Contributing to the growth and success of our community by identifying opportunities to improve user engagement, retention, and satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment
  • 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, computer science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support or a related customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of intercom and/or other chat platforms
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a focus on empathy and understanding
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and customer-centric support principles
  • Experience with platform demos, user onboarding, and training programs
  • Familiarity with veterinary industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Certification in customer support, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Support Professional (CSP)
