As an Experienced Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. You'll be the face of our brand, embodying our values of discovery, excitement, and inclusivity. With a strong focus on customer service, you'll be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, while also exercising sound judgment in decision-making to ensure the safety of our customers, employees, and the protection of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure preparedness in critical situations
- Wear a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to enhance security and customer confidence
- Greet customers with courtesy and respect, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service
- Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department, observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
- Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio
- Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a secure environment
- Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Who We're Looking For:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise judgment in critical situations
- Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, prioritizing workload and managing time effectively
- Prior retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and loss prevention strategies
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment
