Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry/Customer Service (2nd Shift) at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing accurate and timely medication dispensing services to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying correct dosages, and maintaining accurate customer records.

Day in the Life

As a member of our pharmacy team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. Your typical day will involve:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
