Responsibilities As a Medical Billing - Email and Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

Email Support

* Respond to patient emails regarding medical billing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Resolve billing issues promptly and efficiently, providing accurate information on billing, insurance, and payment options. * Utilize knowledge base and resources to provide accurate and up-to-date information on medical billing processes and insurance regulations.

Live Chat Support

* Engage with patients via live chat, addressing billing questions and concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner. * Troubleshoot billing issues and escalate complex concerns to ensure timely resolution. * Utilize knowledge base and resources to provide accurate and up-to-date information on medical billing processes and insurance regulations.

Customer Service

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. * Educate patients on billing processes and insurance options, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and benefits. * Utilize active listening skills to understand patient concerns and provide personalized support.

Data Entry and Record-Keeping

* Accurately update patient records and billing information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Document patient interactions and resolutions, maintaining a clear and concise record of all communication. * Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software to manage patient data and billing information. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: * 1+ year of customer service experience in medical billing or healthcare, with a strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance regulations. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. * Certification as a Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software. * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance. * Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance regulations.
