Job Summary

We're seeking a part-time Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team, working 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. As a Data Entry Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system

  • Understand and identify customs documentation
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
  • Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics

Essential Qualifications

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
  • Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customs brokerage or supply chain management

  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures
  • Experience with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
