What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Remote Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering and maintaining utility account information with high accuracy, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and reliable.
  • Verifying account eligibility and accessibility for customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Preparing and distributing work orders and mass communications, helping to keep our customers informed and engaged.
  • Assisting with the mailing of billing statements and notices, ensuring that our customers receive the information they need in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conducting monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize our processes.

What is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating your ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to pass computer skills, typing accuracy, and 10-key skills testing, ensuring that you have the technical skills required for this role.

  • An Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields, you'll have a solid foundation in business principles and data management.
