Job Summary
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation at arenaflex. You will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and using this information to make recommendations for process improvements. You will work closely with our Quality Control team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues.
Responsibilities
* Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Assist with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., data analysis, statistics, mathematics, computer science).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with data representation tools and capabilities, such as Power BI, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is a plus.
- Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is a plus.
- Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and be a self-motivated individual.
- Past internship experience in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
