Job Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Promoting and selling air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders
- Providing assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance
- Interpreting authorities' guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments
- Meeting and dispatching planes within set-up times
- Providing assistance to distressed passengers and customers
- Protecting company assets and revenue
- Ensuring a safe journey for all passengers
- Possessing the physical ability and dexterity to perform various job-related duties
- Using organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited timeframe
- Being self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision
- Responding and assisting during safety and emergency situations
- Following internal and external regulations and procedures
- May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers
- Responsible for the overall performance in the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees
- May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Tower capabilities
What You'll Need for Success:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or GED
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills are required in some locations
- A valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must satisfy FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
- Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work on a regular and timely basis
