What You'll Do

As a remote customer service representative, you'll be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns. Your tasks will include:

  • Completing statistical access and balancing features
  • Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assisting different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated Accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working member cases/assignments
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
  • Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to process wire transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws
  • Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees

All You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school degree or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
  • Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

  • Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
