Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Service/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Reaching out to individuals who have requested more information on the benefits we offer, and scheduling Zoom meetings to discuss their options
  • Customizing new benefit plans and adjusting existing plans to fit the current needs of each client
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, providing attentive customer service and administrative support as needed
  • Performing benefit reviews for existing clients, as well as helping with any necessary claims or adjustments
  • Responding to and resolving client questions and concerns regarding their benefits
  • Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete, and performing any necessary updates on schedule

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Ambition, motivation, and a strong work ethic, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the supplemental benefits industry, including medical, dental, vision, and hearing insurance
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing platforms
  • Experience with benefits administration software, such as ADP or Paychex
  • Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Virtual Customer Service/Sales Representative, you can expect:

  • Weekly performance-based pay and bonuses, on average $65,000 to $68,500 first year annually
