As a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at arenaflex, you'll be part of a dynamic crew that's responsible for ensuring seamless transactions and exceptional customer experiences. Your primary focus will be on processing and managing various financial transactions, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You'll work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions to resolve issues, answer member inquiries, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

As a remote customer service representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing daily tasks related to account processing, check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
  • Coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of transactions
  • Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working member cases and sports assigned to you
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
  • Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
  • Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees

All You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

Minimum Qualifications

* High school degree or GED

  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer/member service experience

  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

  • Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
  • Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
