Job Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary basis, with excellent potential for permanent employment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer support, answering calls, and responding to queries related to medical insurance. This is an ideal opportunity to pivot your customer service expertise into the healthcare industry and make a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect, patience, and empathy
  • Accurately documenting call content in real-time to ensure seamless communication and record-keeping
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed support

Schedule

* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
  • Note: Rotating holidays as needed

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay: $16.20/hr

  • Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the healthcare industry or with medical insurance

  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with call center software and technology
