Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Communicating with customers: Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, or phone, and resolve any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner.
- Staying up-to-date with our app and Shopify ecosystem: Continuously learn about our features, updates, and best practices to provide expert support to our customers.
- Product feedback and improvement: Summarize customer feedback and suggest new ways to improve our product, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
- Non-CS related tasks: Participate in various projects and tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, creating mockups, and more, based on your natural abilities and interests.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Superb written and verbal communication skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas, empathize with customers, and provide clear solutions.
- Problem-solving skills: Enjoy talking to people, listening to their concerns, and finding creative solutions.
- Technical proficiency: Proficient in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a basic understanding of CSS and JS, and a willingness to learn more.
- Documentation skills: Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation and articles.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have
While not required, experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
- Shopify expertise: Familiarity with Shopify, theme development, and customization.
- B2B SaaS experience: Understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape and its challenges.
- Additional languages: Proficiency in French, Spanish, Italian, or other languages will be an asset.
- Marketing, SEO, video editing, or other skills: Any additional skills that can benefit a startup will be considered.
