Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales and visual merchandising efforts, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable retail experience, develop your skills, and build a strong foundation for a career in the retail industry.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Service: Greet and welcome customers, provide product information and guidance, and ensure a high-quality customer service experience.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, setting up seasonal promotions/visual displays, and regularly monitor assigned areas for product restocking and recovery.
  • Point of Sale Support: Operate cash registers, assist customers with check-out, and execute appropriate cash handling procedures.
  • Inventory & Order Fulfillment Support: Help receive and process incoming merchandise, assist with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests, and possibly handle seasonal perishable goods.
  • Customer Care: Support the digital and in-store shopping experience by assisting with responding to customer inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required.
