Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Transportation Analytics crew. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Data Analysis: Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and implement ad-hoc analyses to provide critical information to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization: Create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effect of modifications and specific business challenges.
- ETL Development: Develop Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table.
- Scripting: Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks related to reporting, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
- Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to establish credibility and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Document your processes and share your expertise with colleagues. Mentor junior team members as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- SQL Skills: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
- Tableau Experience: Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards.
- Business Operations Fluency: Ability to recognize and root-cause business problems, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish credibility with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced SQL and Tableau Experience: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, with a strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence.
- E-commerce Operations Experience: Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, R, or other languages.
- Data Manipulation Tools: Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
