As a Financial Analyst in our Global Merchant & Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing Group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. About the Role:
The GM&NS Pricing Group is responsible for generating revenue from the discount business, one of arenaflex's largest revenue sources. Our team collaborates with various business partners to determine the best rates that encourage merchants to accept arenaflex while improving service and merchant satisfaction. We drive GMS revenue and profit growth through customer-centric pricing principles, flexible pricing architectures, and innovative pricing solutions. As a Financial Analyst in Canada, you will be responsible for forecasting and reporting company revenues, providing a unique opportunity to influence business decisions and drive growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change.
- Developing and maintaining a list of discounted business income for the Canadian region.
- Designing and developing processes across multiple regional cost groups for all relevant reporting and forecasting activities.
- Supporting external audits, including investigating issues discovered, communicating with local value teams, and resolving issues.
- Performing ad-hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in financial assistance, business payments, or other finance-related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create best-in-class financial models and maximize value from large amounts of financial information.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where goals may differ.
- Strong work ethic, with a passion for winning and a focus on excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
