About the Project We are looking for a Junior Consultant who will support modeling, simulation, and analysis activities focused on vehicle performance, dynamics, and control systems. This role combines MATLAB/Simulink development with hands-on vehicle dynamics engineering, contributing to both virtual development and validation of vehicle behavior. Work Type: Remote Contract: Initial 6 months (possible extension up to 12+ months) Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain vehicle models and control systems in MATLAB/Simulink Perform simulation and analysis of vehicle dynamics behavior (ride, handling, stability) Integrate subsystems such as powertrain, suspension, and control units into full vehicle models Support co-simulation environments and multi-domain system integration Conduct ride & handling analysis, including performance vs. comfort trade-offs Analyze weight transfer, load distribution, and chassis behavior under different driving conditions Perform sensitivity studies and optimization of vehicle parameters Support correlation of simulation results with real-world test data Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on system development and validation

Requirements

Degree in automotive, mechanical, or related engineering field Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and control system development Ability to build and integrate vehicle-level models (e.g. powertrain, suspension, controllers) Knowledge of vehicle dynamics fundamentals, including tyre behavior Understanding of weight transfer and load distribution during braking, acceleration, and cornering Experience with vehicle modeling Ability to analyze ride & handling characteristics Knowledge of suspension kinematics Experience in chassis tuning and optimization Familiarity with data analysis and simulation validation Nice to have Experience with co-simulation environments Exposure to CAD or dynamic analysis tools Experience in motorsport or performance vehicle projects (e.g., Formula Student) Understanding of aerodynamics in vehicle dynamics context Join a leading commercial vehicle project and shape vehicle performance through MATLAB/Simulink modeling and advanced vehicle dynamics analysis.
