Accounts Receivable Analyst and Collections
Job Summary Vanteo is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Analyst to support the organization’s financial operations by managing accounts receivable processes, driving timely collections, and ensuring accuracy in customer accounts. This role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow, minimizing risk exposure, and partnering cross-functionally to resolve billing and payment issues. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively identify overdue accounts Conduct collection efforts through phone, email, and written correspondence Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate posting of payments Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes and improve client experience Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions Prepare regular reporting on AR status, trends, and potential risk exposure Recommend and implement process improvements to increase collection efficiency Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations What You’ll Bring Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and negotiation skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and drive results Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders Commitment to data accuracy and process integrity Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 2–5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred Experience with automated collection tools or AR software is a plus Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Please note that this job description is not designed to cover all activities, duties, or responsibilities.
