We need an English-fluent CAD Designer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills. Are you the one we are looking for? Responsibilities: Convert the design team's preliminary designs into accurate, fabrication-ready shop drawings for sheet-metal sign manufacturing. Generate router files directly from 3D models to support the fabrication team's production process. Produce detailed material lists and quantity takeoffs from models and drawings. Collaborate with both the design and fabrication teams to ensure shop drawings meet production specifications and standards. Maintain organized, up-to-date project files and documentation. Own the end-to-end technical workflow, from design handoff to fabrication-ready deliverables, improving efficiency across the team. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in sheet metal design, specifically applied to sign fabrication or a similar industry. Proficiency in OnShape Experience producing shop drawings intended for fabrication teams (not just preliminary or concept drawings). Ability to generate router files and material lists directly from a 3D model. Strong attention to detail and commitment to fabrication-ready quality. Compensation: The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $1,500- $2,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform. The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
