We know our people are the key to our success, and we're proud to be home to some of the most innovative and skilled individuals in the workforce today. Come feel invigorated and unstoppable with us! The Role We are searching for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead and execute Bloomerang’s organic social media strategy. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our social media presence across multiple platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive business growth. You are both a creative storyteller and a data-driven strategist—someone who embraces emerging trends, experiments with out-of-the-box ideas, and consistently pushes the brand forward in innovative ways. You are comfortable both behind and occasionally in front of the camera, with a strong passion for short-form video content and the ability to bring ideas to life through engaging, high-performing social media experiences. You bring experience using (and a willingness to experiment with) emerging AI tools to enhance creativity, improve efficiency, and evolve how social content is developed and delivered. You bring a proven track record in social media management, content creation, and strategic planning, along with a strong understanding of the nonprofit market.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives. Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all channels while continuously identifying new, creative ways to expand reach and engagement. Lead the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels. This includes copywriting, visual content, and video production. Ensure that all social media graphics and media adhere to brand guidelines and bring fresh, innovative ideas that elevate brand awareness and differentiate Bloomerang in the market. Own the strategy and support the execution of short-form video content (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok-style content), including ideation, filming, minor editing, and publishing. Be comfortable appearing on camera when needed and guiding others to do the same. Continuously experiment with new formats, trends, and storytelling techniques to drive engagement. Partner closely with the Brand Communications Marketing Manager to build and sustain a consistent, high-quality stream of LinkedIn content for Bloomerang’s executive team. Support the development of content that elevates thought leadership by showcasing each executive’s unique perspective, voice, and areas of expertise. Monitor social media channels for opportunities to engage with industry professionals, customers, and prospects. Foster meaningful conversations to build brand loyalty and thought leadership within the nonprofit community. Articulate our mission, what we do, and use that knowledge to respond to inquiries from the public and/or customers. Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights to continuously optimize campaigns and strategies. Use data-driven insights to refine and adjust content and engagement tactics. Oversee the efforts of a cross-functional team to execute social media strategies effectively. Collaborate closely with Marketing colleagues as well as Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure social media initiatives are aligned with business objectives and current priorities. Serve as the brand’s social media ambassador, ensuring all communications reflect the company’s values, culture, and voice. Participate in the Crisis Communications Team (CCT). Ongoing monitoring and mitigation of potential risks associated with public sentiment on social platforms, especially in times of crisis. Stay at the forefront of social media trends, emerging platforms, and new content formats—especially in short-form video. Proactively bring new ideas, test creative concepts, and integrate innovative approaches into the social media strategy. What You Need to Succeed 5+ years of experience in social media, with at least 2 years developing executive thought leadership content for social, ideally within a B2B or SaaS environment. Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and social media management tools (Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.). Experience with paid social advertising is a plus. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong visual and creative skills, with proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (OpusClip, After Effects). Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and their application in social media content ideation, creation, and optimization. Experience using AI to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and accelerate content production while maintaining brand voice and quality. Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, LinkedIn Insights) to measure success and make data-driven decisions. Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Nice to Haves But Not Required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing are a plus.
