Adjunct Teaching - Teacher Education - El Ed 203 & Sc Ed 353
About the position Teach Foundations of Multicultural Education courses for secondary education and elementary education programs (Sc Ed 353 and El Ed 203). Candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm). Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
Responsibilities
- Teach Foundations of Multicultural Education courses for secondary education and elementary education programs (Sc Ed 353 and El Ed 203).
- Candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
- Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degree must be in elementary education or secondary education, multicultural education, or a related field.
- The required degree must be completed by the start date.
- Expertise in multicultural education at elementary and/or secondary levels.
- Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
