Field Marketing Manager - Medical Devices

As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of field marketing activities across the EMEA region in close alignment with the central marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be to translate global marketing initiatives into effective local execution, working closely with both the central marketing team and local commercial teams to drive demand generation, brand awareness, and commercial impact. In this role, you will plan and deliver regional and local marketing events, manage relationships and engagements with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and support customer‑facing initiatives, becoming a trusted point of reference for the regional commercial teams. You will also analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to continuously refine field marketing strategies and ensure strong alignment with local market priorities. You will manage the marketing budget for the assigned cluster, ensuring effective allocation of resources, return on investment, and alignment with regional and central objectives. You will act as a key liaison between the central marketing function and local sales organizations, ensuring consistent messaging while adapting campaigns to local market requirements. You will report to the EMEA Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders across marketing, sales, and commercial operations throughout the region. This role is based remotely within eligible EMEA countries and involves occasional travel to regional offices and key market events. Your Main Responsibilities: Execute marketing and strategic plan implementation at cluster level Collaborate closely with the cluster leader to deliver key business priorities Coordinate and support new product launches across the cluster Plan and run campaigns and events to drive and accelerate technology adoption Build and maintain collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry associations Organize third-party and ASP-led events, including training days Develop and implement local tactical marketing programs and campaigns to support the sales pipeline and revenue growth Design, execute, and analyze Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives Develop and execute event and tradeshow project plans, including:Event objectives Budget management Logistics coordination Demand-generation strategy Marketing campaigns On-site roles and responsibilities Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within healthcare or medical devices Experience with digital marketing campaigns preferred Proven experience in planning and coordinating corporate events and/or tradeshows Ability to manage complex projects independently with minimal supervision Highly detail-oriented and well organized, with strong logistical skills Experience in developing and localizing marketing materials to meet cluster-specific needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to manage budgets, including planning, forecasting, and ensuring adherence to forecasts Experience in:Creation and maintenance of marketing materials Development of communications and newsletters Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is strongly preferred, French is a plus Strong proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Notes) Based in the UK, Germany, Belgium, or the Netherlands; remote role with residence near a major international airport Travel requirement: approximately 20–30% Fortive Corporation Overview Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
