Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper to join our remote team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for planning and executing daily and monthly accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements. You will work closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute daily and monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Own the monthly close cycle for assigned areas of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain financial records and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Collaborate with FP&A and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decisions
- Conduct special investigations and projects to drive process improvements and cycle efficiency
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business growth and decision-making
What We're Looking For

- Strong business acumen and process-oriented thinking
- Data-driven and detail-focused, with a passion for accuracy and precision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, with a strong command of English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/ internal controls
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a CPA certification a plus
