Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to phone inquiries from patients, addressing their concerns with empathy and care
  • Helping patients understand their pharmacy benefits, using your knowledge and problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions
  • Documenting patient interactions in real-time, ensuring accurate and timely communication
  • Identifying and addressing patient concerns, escalating issues as necessary to ensure optimal care
  • Collaborating with your team to provide comprehensive support and guidance to patients

What You Should Have

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • A College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of relevant customer care experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge, including the ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary

What Will Set You Apart

While a College or Junior College education with a healthcare focus is preferred, we also value candidates with:

  • Medical Terminology training
  • Pharmacy or Benefits training
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry
