Job Summary

As a Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights, you'll lead a high-performing team of seasoned insights directors to develop and steward industry, customer/consumer, and competitive insights that drive revenue and volume growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including FSOP Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, Industry, and CVG (Customer Value & Growth) leadership, to identify top opportunities and develop robust analytics and testing agendas. Your expertise will be critical in navigating the competitive environment, leveraging external marketplace intelligence, and setting proactive direction to capture opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a high-performing team of six seasoned FSOP Insights Directors, providing vision, coaching, development, and definition on how work is deployed with key stakeholders.

  • Set strategy, prioritize resources, and deploy talent to ensure development of best-in-class and ground-breaking insights that shape business direction.
  • Partner across FSOP Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, Industry, and CVG leadership teams to define top opportunities to address through a robust analytics and testing agenda.
  • Continuously navigate and survey the competitive environment to ensure keen awareness of marketplace opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate across the arenaflex global network to ensure optimal use of resources, knowledge sharing, extraction of applicable learning, and expansion of the insights capabilities of the FSOP organization.
  • Set strategic guidance on critical insights and storytelling required to win business renewals and customers (Code 5/10s) that drive growth for the arenaflex system.
  • Identify and deploy latest technologies, partnerships, and innovative approaches to ensure fast-paced and agile insights development.

Key Focus Areas

* Strategic Thinking and Strategy Development: Define and set the agenda for critical insights and marketplace intelligence needs of the organization. Partner in the development of annual business plan; drive FSOP strategy and opportunities; ensure plan has a relevant FSOP strategy to win in the marketplace.

  • Relationship Management: Act as a network partner to ensure connectivity with other insights organizations, leading the way for knowledge sharing and application of growth-driving intelligence for FSOP customer partners. Build strong team-oriented relationships with other key internal business units and/or global partners that result in greater opportunities for the FSOP business.
  • People Leadership & Development: Recruit and retain a high-performance team, and serve as an advocate for future career opportunities and personal growth/development. Set the agenda for training and capability building of the organization to enable deeper thought leadership in our customer relationships.

Education and Experience

* Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree; 10+ Years in CPG Industry; Senior level experience within the consumer goods/beverages industry; Innovative and collaborative mindset, comfortable with disruption and able to pivot with business changes; People leadership/management – specifically, experience leading leaders of others; Customer experience in the Foodservice or CPG industry or adjacent businesses (i.e., digital, supplier, bottler, etc.); Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed team; Experience across multiple disciplines beyond FSOP management (Human Insights, Revenue Growth Management, etc.).

  • Preferred: MBA or other graduate degree.

* Strategic thinker with holistic understanding of the consumer / customer landscape and clear application of pulling specific levers to build best-in-class thinking (drive insights to action).

  • Advanced analytical capability and critical thinking to probe, assess, and advise on meaningful solutions.
  • Business planning experience and general management mindset / holistic view of the business.
  • Risk taking and unafraid to disrupt the status quo, think differently, and drive new ways of working.
  • Capabilities with customer-specific data sources and data providers, as well as internal tools, dashboards, and data sources.
  • Drives organizational performance, efficiency, & effectiveness.

Travel and Location

* Travel: 25-35%

  • Location: Virtual (Between East Coast and Central part of the US) with preference for Atlanta Based

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay Range: $224,100 - $257,600

  • Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
  • Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 50
