Key Responsibilities:

* Handle incoming customer service inquiries from patients, prescribers, insurance companies, external partners, or internal partners via telephone, email, or other communication channels.

  • Research and resolve problems in a timely manner, utilizing your analytical skills to identify solutions and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Create and/or edit patient records in our database system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is entered and maintained.
  • Initiate outbound telephone calls to patients or prescribers to collect additional information, explain benefit outcomes, or provide updates on patient records.
  • Attach incoming facsimile images to patient records and generate letters and brochures as needed.
  • Identify and escalate concerns received from patients, prescribers, partners, or insurance companies, ensuring corrective action is pursued accordingly.
  • Document the outcome of all interactions associated with patient records into the database system.
  • Adhere to quality, production, and turnaround standards associated with the assigned program.
  • Report all Adverse Events (AE) disclosed in alignment with training and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • One or more years of experience in a highly skilled and fast-paced call center environment, preferably in Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Commercial Insurance, or Patient Assistance Programs.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member, with a commitment to high standards and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Experience with database systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and learn quickly
