The AWS IT Services Support team at arenaflex is a dynamic and collaborative group of IT professionals who provide highly-available IT support to our employees worldwide. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch support for all used client applications, operating systems, email, VPN, mobile devices, and common collaboration services such as SharePoint and Exchange.
Job Summary
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in managing local and/or remote resources and assisting the global organization to define the perfect customer experience. You will be responsible for developing and leveraging the team's knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identifying ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
- Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
- Develop and leverage the team's knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
- Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
- Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
- Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement in IT services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of IT excellence
Essential Qualifications
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of driving innovation and improvement in IT services
- Experience with metrics and goal-setting to measure team success
