Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
- Providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding flights, fares, and travel options
- Processing customer requests for ticketing, rebooking, and refunds
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge
What You'll Do:
* Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
- Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
- Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
- Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside)
- Correct oversold seat assignments and issue upgrades
- Issue vouchers and coordinate with vendors for traveler accommodations, meals, and transportation
- Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
- Operate gate readers/scanners and related tasks, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line management
- Work jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning travelers
- Make boarding and departure gate announcements
- Convey domestic/international flight records
- Perform customer service flight close-out procedures
- Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
- Maintain a schedule of flight loading process
- Participate in customer service hands-on training
- Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters
- Manage lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
- Clear/confirm international documents at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Assist customers requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
- Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
- Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any mandatory overtime requirements
- Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
- Provide connecting traveler door information
- Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to arenaflex standards
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
- Complete task-related stages of training
- Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
- Utilize various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions
- Wear uniform as required by company policy
All You'll Need for Success:
* Least Capabilities: + Education: Bachelor's degree + Language skills: Bilingual language skills required in certain areas + Relevant driver's license: Valid driver's license as required by local authorities + FAA background checks: Meet requirements for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Airport power and US Customs security IDs: Obtain proper airport power and US Customs security IDs, if applicable + Pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting: Complete to meet company and security requirements + Work authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S.

+ Training and earlier professional training + Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems + Past face-to-face customer service experience
