About the Data Engineering Team
The Data Engineering team at arenaflex is responsible for designing and developing data pipelines that support our business operations. We work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure. Our team is passionate about using data to drive business decisions and create new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that support our Media business. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines, working with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Work with large datasets and large-scale data processing systems, such as Snowflake and Databricks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools such as Docker and GitLab
- Work with data architects and data scientists to design and implement data models and data governance policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines and data quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong experience with Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
- Experience with cloud-based data processing systems, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Experience with Docker and GitLab
- Strong understanding of data governance policies and data quality best practices
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and large-scale data processing systems
- Experience with cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
