Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Director of Data Analytics to join our Store Mechanization and Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for developing a framework of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to define metrics, design and implement data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our goals on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations, including data sources, data quality, and business requirements.
- Analyze business issues and challenges within your area of expertise, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
- Design and implement data pipelines and dashboards to support business decision-making and drive progress towards our goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or deep learning.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations.
- Experience with data storytelling and communication, with the ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership.
