Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone with professionalism and in a timely manner.
- Planning and selling transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services to meet our clients' needs.
- Cooperating with clients to determine their requirements and advising them on the best destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations.
- Utilizing promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages that meet our clients' expectations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Providing accurate, valid, and comprehensive information by utilizing the right methods and tools.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents.
- Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Taking the extra mile to engage customers and build a loyal client base.
- Working collaboratively with team members to improve the overall customer service experience.
- Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and policies to provide the best possible support to our clients.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
