Job Description As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch organizational support to our team. Your primary duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details and ensuring accuracy.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and providing timely solutions.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties from time to time as required by the team.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, with the ability to create accurate spreadsheets and documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or office management.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Knowledge of data entry software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Experience with data backup and security protocols.
