Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. You'll assist with a range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
- Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
- Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
- Work from home and be self-sufficient, with occasional commutes to the office in Richmond, VA when necessary
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
- Must be able to work from home and be self-sufficient
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable required
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
- Strong knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
