Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating conversations with customers, discussing their plans, and suggesting products that meet their needs
  • Providing customer service that exceeds expectations, including handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations
  • Maintaining the assigned sales floor areas stocked, clean, and secure, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers
  • Utilizing teamwork with management and colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Processing customer transactions using the POS system, handling customer refunds and exchanges, and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Developing pricing labels and promotional displays, managing stock levels, and showcasing products in a visually appealing way
  • Demonstrating and validating compliance with company safety protocols and adhering to company guidelines for answering calls and taking messages
  • Being available to assist in any department of the store, as needed, and achieving excellence in a fast-paced environment with precision

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have prior experience in customer service or a related field
  • Possess basic math skills and be able to accurately handle cash, process transactions, and manage stock levels
  • Be able to multitask efficiently and deliver excellent results in a fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable for this role:

  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Forklift certification (training provided by arenaflex)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Physical and Sensory Requirements

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need to be able to:

  • Exert force ranging from 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently to transport or manipulate objects
  • Manipulate and feel objects using your hands and fingers
  • Perform repeated activities that demand physical exertion, such as standing, walking, reaching, balancing, or climbing
