About arenaflex's Customer Systems Team

Our Customer Systems team is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions that empower our customers to achieve their goals. As a Java Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy complex Java-based systems, including back-end applications, APIs, and microservices

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Work with the team to identify and prioritize technical debt, and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to arenaflex's coding standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and system architecture diagrams
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that systems meet quality and testing standards
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability and respond to production issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and arenaflex's technology roadmap

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on back-end systems and APIs
• Proficiency in Java 8 and above, including Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning, including natural language processing and computer vision
