Job Summary
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Representative to join our Release Operations team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely clearance of international shipments, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, remote position, requiring a strong commitment to working night shifts (11PM - 7AM, Eastern Time, Wednesday - Sunday).
Key Responsibilities
As a Customs Brokerage Representative, you'll be responsible for the following key duties:
- Release, classify, and bill basic import shipments
- Prepare bonds for U.S. Customs for inspection and release of imports
- Assure accurate and timely billings and resolve accounting issues
- Stay up-to-date on Customs and procedure changes
- May be assigned additional tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2+ years of Brokerage/Office Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a brokerage or office environment is required
- Accurate Data Entry Skills: Strong data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems
- Excellent Communications Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Previous Experience with MS Word and EXCEL: Previous experience with MS Word and EXCEL is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- Previous Experience with Customs Brokerage: Previous experience in customs brokerage is a plus
- Certifications: Certifications such as the Certified Customs Broker (CCB) or the Certified Import Specialist (CIS) are a plus
