Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our plan members, providing timely and effective support for their pharmacy benefit-related inquiries. You'll work closely with our members to understand their needs, resolve issues, and provide solutions that facilitate their treatment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of healthcare and pharmacy benefits, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from plan members regarding pharmacy benefits, prescriptions, and health insurance

  • Provide accurate and timely information about plan benefits, coverage, and eligibility
  • Resolve member complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pharmacy, claims, and customer service, to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of member interactions and issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on pharmacy benefits, healthcare trends, and customer service best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

* 1 year of customer interaction experience in a call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, or military setting

  • Computer experience with Windows-based applications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication and professionalism
  • Patience and understanding, with the ability to convey trust and confidence
  • Reliability and compliance with certain standards

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry

  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, health insurance, and related regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
