Experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Telehealth Sales and Patient Scheduling (100% Remote)

About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our sales and patient scheduling team, you'll play a vital role in helping patients and their families make informed decisions about our services.
Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound sales calls to help patients or their families decide to book our services
- Checking insurance coverage for patients, submitting pre-authorizations, and ensuring seamless billing processes
- Following up with potential patients to address any questions or concerns they may have
- Scheduling appointments and rescheduling when issues arise, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care
- Following up with patients on status, including equipment, materials, and surveys, to ensure a positive experience
- Providing weekly sales updates to the operations manager, helping us to refine our sales strategies and improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
- The ability to be available to answer the phone and be in front of your computer, free of distraction and noise, from approximately 9:00am-5:30pm PST every business day
- At least 10 years of experience in customer service, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences
- At least 5 years of experience as a medical receptionist, including insurance verification experience
- At least 5 years of experience in inside/inbound sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong computer and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High levels of self-motivation and enthusiasm, with a passion for spending all day talking to prospects on the phone
- Flexibility and adaptability, as your responsibilities will grow and/or shift as our company continues to evolve
Compensation, Growth, and Benefits:
- A competitive base salary of $42,000-$49,000 per year, depending on experience
- A potential annual bonus of up to $5,000, based on individual and team performance
