Responsibilities
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you'll have a variety of responsibilities that will challenge you daily. Some of your key duties will include:
- Answering phones from customers professionally and responding to their inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Focusing on customer retention and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
- Providing customers with our organization's service standards and ensuring that they understand our policies and procedures.
- Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management and reporting on customer complaints and inquiries.
- Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as necessary.
- Completing call notes and call reports as required and updating them in our CRM system.
- Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document customer complaints and inquiries.
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (a plus)
- Some sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
- Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
