What You'll Do Every Day as a Customer Care Professional
As a Customer Care Professional, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to small business owners and decision-makers, while also selling American Express Small Business Services products. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Service Inbound Calls: Engage and consult with small business owners and decision-makers, learn about their needs, and recommend the right American Express SBS products.
- Deliver High Levels of Product and Service Knowledge: Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and other elements of American Express Small Business Services to customers.
- Continuously Improve Key Selling Skills: Build rapport, understand customer needs, handle objections, and close sales in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment.
- Provide Extraordinary Customer Care: Respond to questions concerning accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment.
- Document Necessary Account Information: Adhere to established policies and procedures to document necessary account information.
- Integrity: Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices.
Minimum Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Customer Service Experience: Two years+ of customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication.
- Proven Success in Customer Service and Sales: Proven success in a customer service and sales environment with a track record of delivering exceptional results.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Metric-Driven Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web-based environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience owning or working in a small business is a plus.
Work Environment and Company Culture
This position will work in a hybrid model from our Phoenix Desert Ridge Service Center. Based on business needs, training may be held 100% on site or virtually. We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary Range: $20.00 to $21.65 hourly + bonus + benefits
