Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of patient data. You'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our electronic health records, managing patient information, and performing various administrative tasks to support our healthcare services. Key Responsibilities
* Patient Experience: Engage with patients by greeting them and offering assistance with items and services. Resolve patient issues promptly and respond to inquiries to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Client Support: Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues to deliver a personalized and pleasant experience, including relational behaviors that demonstrate empathy (e.g., welcoming, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and arenaflex service qualities (e.g., showing interest to identify needs and proactively helping, upgrading until satisfied, advocating compassion and inclusivity, etc.).
- Patient Engagement: Associate with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services. Support efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing familiarity with healthcare services offered through arenaflex (e.g., patient counseling, prescription management, medication therapy reviews, and perform clinical or health services like vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient results services) thereby advancing the shift of the arenaflex pharmacy role from transactional to relational.
- Partnerships: Participate and aid in events that reflect the exceptional communities we serve as mentioned by Head Manager, Healthcare Manager, Region Director or Pharmacy Administrator.
- Advice and Guidance: Advise patients and answer their inquiries regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter items, and refer to clinical provider as necessary to ensure medication is taken accurately, health needs are addressed, and satisfaction with service is achieved.
- Pharmacy Operations: Perform pharmacy tasks including compounding, medication therapy reviews, check, and medication management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with guidelines, organization policies and standards. Assist pharmacy manager with establishing strategies that promote the effective workflow of the pharmacy including delegating tasks, planning activities, and soliciting colleague suggestions. Responsible for the opening and closing of the pharmacy and shift change responsibilities.
- Honest Intentions Apportioning: Guarantees the utilization of all components of the Honest Intentions Apportioning strategy related to state and government controlled substance regulations while filling prescriptions. The Item Audit/Retail Fill Cycle Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that components of Pure Intentions are available.
- Data Management: Maintains current knowledge on data technology related to pharmacy systems including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail location registers to offer assistance to patients as well as pharmacy staff. Seeks new and better ways to encourage advance efficiency.
- Insurance and Billing: Ensures the accurate handling of insurance claims to resolve patient issues and prevent payment denials. Circles back to insurance companies and clinical providers and participates in external review.
- Clinical Services: Performs clinical and health services, such as vaccinations, diagnostic testing, disease state management, and other healthcare services.
- Performance Analysis: Assists and supports the pharmacy manager in analyzing performance data including pharmacy financial, customer service, and execution of strategies for pharmacy resource management and inventory management.
- Community Outreach: Creates and maintains good relationships with local healthcare community including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Participates in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business, enhance learning experiences, and provide happier lives through better health.
- Virtual Services: Collaborates with unified support for patient enrollment, exemption resolution, and assists with resolving patient issues. In virtual conditions, conducts virtual item audit by keeping explicit organization methods and rules.
Individuals and Performance Management
* Staff Development: Assists the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training. Develops the course of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by training, and giving productive feedback, checking customer service, and encouraging colleague development.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Advances collaboration and inspires colleagues by establishing expectations, screens and recognizes progress, and encourages a common vision.
Preparation and Self-Awareness
* Continuing Education: Maintains current knowledge and required permitting/credentialing/verification as laid out by government and state guidelines to offer such clinical types of assistance.
- Professional Development: Maintains current knowledge and skills connected with pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy-related journals, organization publications, and communications. Maintains attention to advancements in retail and management and pursues accepted procedures that would improve performance.
- Professional Growth: Acquires vital certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, as required by the Organization.
- Self-Improvement: Seeks professional growth by observing one's performance, requests for valuable feedback, and use pharmacy manager and head manager as tutor and mentor.
- Communication: Upholds the Pharmacy Director and Head Manager by imparting important corporate health and wellness services or policy information to pharmacy staff.
Essential Capabilities
* Bachelor's Degree: BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region.
- Experience: Experience performing prescription apportioning exercises that show strong areas of knowledge on pertinent state and government controlled substance regulations.
- Immunization Certification: Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer in at least 90 days of hire.
Favored Capabilities
* Minimum 2 Years Experience: At least 2-year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and check, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
- Data Entry Experience: Experience with data entry software and systems, including electronic health records and pharmacy management systems.
