Job Description:
As a Lead Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
Designing and Developing Data Items and Data Centers:
Collaborate with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, develop, and implement advanced data solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Planning and Fostering Versatile Data Warehousing Arrangements:
Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Large Data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid). Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flash, and Wind stream, with languages such as Python, Scala.
Helping Engineer Data Arrangements/Structures and Defining Data Models:
Assist in designing and implementing data structures and defining data models for our core data warehouse and data shops.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to ensure successful data solution implementation and delivery.
Maintaining Detailed Documentation:
Keep detailed records of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration.
Ensuring High Functional Productivity and Quality:
Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support our clients' obligations to our Information Science and Information Examination groups.
Participating in Agile/Scrum Practice:
Contribute to our team's well-being and cycle enhancements by actively participating in agile/scrum practice.
Key Capabilities:

Solid SQL Skills and Ability to Query Data:
Possess strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract insights from data and build performant datasets.
Experience with Distributed Systems:
Have hands-on experience with distributed systems like Flash, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data.
Strong Programming Skills:
Possess strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala.
Experience with MPP or Cloud Database Technology:
Have experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query).
Familiarity with Data Integration Toolsets:
Familiarity with data integration toolsets (i.e., Wind current) and writing and maintaining data pipelines.
Strong Data Modeling Skills:
Possess strong data modeling skills and knowledge of data warehousing standard systems and practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies:
Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and practices.
