Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Airport Operations (Ramp Agent) with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
  • Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
  • Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless airport operations, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a Ramp Agent with arenaflex, you'll work in a fast-paced airport environment, with varying shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You'll be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. What You Need to Succeed

To be a successful Ramp Agent with arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.

  • Previous experience in airport operations, customer service, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of airport procedures and protocols.
  • Familiarity with ground equipment and baggage handling systems.
