Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our corporate databases and computer systems. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data, ensuring that it's up-to-date and usable. Your duties will include performing input of customer and account data, organizing information, performing research, reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Data Entry: Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, including text-based and numerical information.
  • Data Organization: Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Research: Perform research to find further information if needed.
  • Data Review: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output.
  • Data Solutions: Use appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Document Management: Perform scanning and printing of documents.
  • Information Access: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, and maintain confidentiality of corporate information.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems.

Requirements

To be successful as a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
  • Administrative Skills: Solid experience with administrative duties, including office equipment usage.
  • Software Proficiency: Good practical experience with MS Office and data management software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail.
  • Organization Skills: Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Education: High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be a bonus.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA).
  • Experience with Cloud-Based Software: Experience with cloud-based software, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Basic data analysis skills, including data visualization and reporting.
