Job Summary
As a Data Entry Representative, you'll be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, and identifying and resolving eligibility edits. You'll work closely with our client's team to ensure seamless data management and provide exceptional support to their operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Enter claims data into data management systems with high accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and resolve eligibility edits, and refer all other edits to claims examiners
- Meet production and quality standards, including daily metrics and deadlines
- Work with multiple monitors and navigate Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system with ease
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our client's team
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve data entry issues and improve processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in data entry and management
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a production work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (medium skills)
- Experience working with provider data demographics and insurance products (medical or dental)
- Familiarity with data management systems and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with multiple monitors and navigating complex data systems
- Familiarity with AS400 (MS DOS) system and ability to learn new software quickly
- Certification in data entry or related field (e.g. Certified Data Entry Specialist)
- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems (e.g. insurance claims management)
